GATE 2011 Important Dates, Announcements, Notifications
IIT Madras officially announced the important dates and other notifications for GATE 2011. This time Online exams are the newly added thing in GATE. The last date to send Online application form is October 27, 2010 and for Offline exam it is November 02, 2010. So the students who are willing to apply for GATE should aware of these important dates and notifications. Here i have listed a complete set of notifications and important dates for GATE 2011. Important Dates for GATE 2011:
Commencement of sale of Application form: 21nd September, 2010.
Last Date for applying online exam: 27th October, 2010.
Last Date for applying offline exam: 02th November, 2010.
GATE 2011 Online exam date: 30th January, 2011.
GATE 2011 Offline exam date: 13rd February, 2011.
GATE 2011 Results annousement Dates: March 15, 2011.
Mode of Application:
1.Online Application
- For General/OBC Rs. 800 and for SC/ST/PD Rs. 400.
2.Offline Application
- For General/OBC Rs. 1000 and for SC/ST/PD Rs. 500.

Where to get the Application forms for GATE exam?
You can get the complete list of Application Form issuing Centres from GATE 2011 Application form issuing Zones, Banks and its Branches. If your city not mentioned in this list just take Demand Draft for Rs 1000/500 and send it to following address mentioned below in the table. DD should be sent by Registered Post or Speed Post.
