Simple way to speed up your internet speed

If you are having any trouble with your internet connection speed, then use google public dns service to improve your internet speed. Google Public DNS is free, global Domain Name System resolution service that is being an best alternative to your current DNS provider. Let we see how to set up this service in detal.

                            


How to set up:

  • Go to control panel
  • Click on network settings
  • Right click on your connection provider (eg: bsnl, airtel...etc) and click properties.
  • Then click on networking tab. Now select Internet protocol(TCP/IP) and click properties.




  • Then change the settings as mentioned above in the figure.
                          Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
                          Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4

  • Finally click ok button and restart your system.

Note:


Before going to change your DNS settings to use Google Public DNS, note down the current DNS settings in a paper as a backup purpose.
